I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, en‘itled

An Ordinance to amend The Fire Insurance Companies

Ordinance 1908

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to

the Governor's Instructions

It was considered by the Board of Trade that The Fire Insurance Companies Ordinance 1908 does not safeguard the rights of creditors or of shareholders in a company. Provision is therefore made that 11

a company or any member or creditor feels aggrieved by the name of

the company having been struck of the Register, the company,

member, or creditor may apply to the Court and the Court, if it be satisfied that i is just so to do, may order the name of the com- -pany to be restored to the Register.
